DEEP ABDOMINAL MASSAGE or CHI (energy) NEI TSANG (internal organs) is a Taoist healing art thousands of years old. It works with abdominal massage. The abdomen is the centre of our organism and, therefore, to take care of it is to take care of oneself. It also favours the flow of energy and releases accumulated tensions. It helps the vital organs to function properly. It also helps to feel good, both physically and mentally. The ancient Taoists observed that when people become ill, they have accumulations of energy in their organs. These accumulations cause knots and tensions in the abdomen. This reduces our life force and can lead to all kinds of diseases and imbalances in the long run.
Healing comes from taking responsibility, from realising that you are the one who creates your thoughts, feelings and actions.
WHAT A CHI NEI TSANG SESSION IS LIKE:
On a table massage and/or futon. Comfortable clothes and oil (in the abdominal area). We start with gentle manoeuvres to prepare the abdomen. We will work more deeply on the abdominal area, acting on the reflex map of the abdomen (HARA). The abdomen is a physical and energetic centre. We will use moxa and salt on this area in the navel area, to finish with the application of herbal pindas.
KEY WORD: ABDOMEN – FLUIDITY – WELL-BEING
The benefits of Chi Nei Tsang Massage are wide and extensive. It also helps to reduce digestive disorders. Stimulates the circulatory and lymphatic system (cellulite and fluid retention) and strengthens the immune system. It supports postural correction therapy. On the other hand, it strengthens the whole area of the lower spine, preventing back pain. It releases physical and energetic blockages, which accumulate in the organs located in the abdominal area. And finally, it treats reactions of the body with old blockages. Contraindicated for people with cancer, infectious diseases, thrombosis. Acute inflammations, women with IUD or pregnant women.
