CHI NEI TSANG – DEEP ABDOMINAL MASSAGE in SEVILLE

“A break for the internal organs.”

Chi Nei Tsang comes from the combination of the words Chi (energy and information) and Nei Tsang (internal organs): “Work the energy and information of the internal organs” or “Transformation of the energy of the internal organs”. It is a therapy that comes from the Chinese Taoist tradition, which consists of a massage in the abdominal area that produces a reflex effect in the whole organism, activating and/or unblocking the energetic flows and, therefore, providing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

The abdomen contains the large intestine, small intestine, liver, gallbladder, stomach, spleen, pancreas, bladder, sex organs, aorta and vena cava, and a large number of lymph nodes, nerves, abdominal muscles and fasciculating membranes. They are all surrounded by the peritoneum, a membrane that covers the abdominal and pelvic walls. The kidneys and adrenal glands are located at the back, between the peritoneum and the ribs. The back of the cavity is protected by the ribs, the spine, and the pelvis and muscles.

The Taoist sages of ancient China observed that human beings often have energy blockages in the internal organs that cause knots and tangles in the abdomen. These blockages occur in the center of the body’s vital functions and restrict the flow of Qi ( Chi) energy, our life force. Negative emotions such as fear, anger, anxiety, depression and worry are the most damaging. Overwork, stress, accidents, surgery, drugs, toxins, poor diet and poor posture also cause problems.

When internal organs are obstructed, they accumulate harmful energies that can flood other body systems and manifest themselves in the form of negative emotions and illnesses. These negative emotions and toxic energies, always looking for a way out, create a perpetual cycle of negative energy and stress. If they cannot find a way out, they become inflamed in the organs or move into the abdomen, the “garbage can” of the body. The abdomen processes some of the waste, but usually more slowly. The body’s energy center located in the navel (corresponds to the acupuncture resonator, Ren8, which has two names; Shen Qe (Gateway to the emotional palace, the spirit and the mind) and Qi He (Fusion with the Breath)) becomes congested and isolated from the rest of the body. The shape of the navel is a good indicator of what is going on inside.

Qi, the vital energy, flows through the internal channels, the nervous system, the blood vessels and the lymph glands of the body. These systems are concentrated and intertwined in the abdomen, which acts as their control center (“Second Brain”). The tensions, worries and pressures of the day, month or year accumulate and rarely dissipate. These alterations cause the physical entanglement of the nerves, blood vessels and lymph nodes. The result is the gradual obstruction of the circulation of energy.

The deep massage provided by CHI NEI TSANG to all the organs of the abdominal cavity is a source of general well-being. The Taoists discovered that it was possible to cure most diseases once the toxins and negative forces that cause them were eliminated from the body.  It is the most comprehensive approach to energizing, strengthening and detoxifying the internal system.   “Listening” and “Attention With Touch“.  Its benefits are:

  • It transforms the negative emotions that block the organs, even before they are born and that generate tensions, pains and pathologies of all kinds. Chi Nei Tsang facilitates contact with these emotions, feeling them without judgment and opening the possibility of dissipating this emotional charge and its emotional, mental and physical symptoms, to achieve a harmonious health and an equally balanced life.
  • It corrects the position of the internal organs and stimulates them.
Detects and corrects postural problems due to lack of balance in the viscera.
  • Eliminates toxins and tones up the lymphatic system.
  • Boosts the immune system and resistance to disease.
  • Strengthens and improves the circulatory system.
  • Benefits people with chronic back, neck and shoulder pain.
