MASSAGE ON FUTON (MAT)

SPECIAL MASSAGE ON FUTON (MAT)  is characterised by two main things.  Firstly, there is the support on which the massage is performed. The futon is a mattress, 160 x 200 x 8 cm, very comfortable, made of latex and cotton, which makes it a formidable medium for balance, health and well-being. Cotton is a good thermal regulator, being warm in winter and cool in summer. It also neutralises the negative static energy accumulated by our organism in everyday life, gradually restoring its original ionic balance.  The elasticity of latex, on the other hand, allows the postures to be uniform and balanced. Secondly, there is the wide range of manoeuvres and techniques that can be used. As it has a larger surface area than a massage table, and as it is on a tatami, it offers a very safe and comfortable space. It allows the person to be mobilised and very specific massage techniques to be applied, using the masseur’s body weight and the Hara approach, so that the client will feel the pressure that their body needs.

Body needs rest, mind needs peace and heart needs joy.

WHAT A SPECIAL MASSAGE ON FUTON SESSION IS LIKE:

Each session is unique and is adapted and personalised to each person. The receiver will lie down, and the masseur will take him/her to different positions, through soft and fluid movements. The techniques used are a mixture and fusion of all our techniques, from shiatsu, Thai, hawaino, cranio-sacral, Ayurveda and Swedish massage.  Kneading, rubbing, pressure, mobilisation, percussions, stretching, traction and rocking. All adapted to the client’s needs.
