In Connection with my Passion
Ever since I was a child, I have felt this “energy” to offer help to others. In my childhood, with my grandmother, who has been a human and spiritual reference, I visited the sick in the village on Sundays. I grew up in a rural area, where contact with nature was very natural. In farming, we worked in cooperation with the rest of the family. Laughter, games and a zest for life are very much present in the streets of my childhood. How important our early years are, because the values we learnt will be with us throughout our lives. I studied Economics and Business Studies, both at the University of Granada and at the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow). At the end of my studies, I started working in a company as head of the economic-financial department. I have experienced the inter-relational activity of companies, which we can consider living entities, and to which I hope to bring the therapies I have learnt. In 2004, the seeds that were once planted began to sprout, and I trained in Reiki, and later in Chiromassage and Sacro-Cranial Technique. In 2009 I trained as a YogaTeacher, and by “chance” I had my first contact with Shiatsu, a contact that turned into a passion.
This led me to train as a Shiatsu therapist at the European School of Shiatsu (2009-2012). In the Shiatsu in which I trained, there is a fundamental base of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which became my second great passion. So, in February 2012 I started to study a new training course, a 4-year Advanced Technician in TraditionalChinese Medicine, at the TCM College, endorsed by the University of TCM in Beijing and Yunnan. This training has allowed me to use techniques such as Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Tuina, Chinese Phytotherapy, Auriculotherapy, etc, as well as broadening my knowledge of Physiology. In 2014, I took a Sotai-Ho course (given by the Spanish Sotai-Ho Association), a Japanese technique of integral postural re-education. I also took the Esalen® massage and Ancient Kashmir Massage. To this day, I am still learning to try to offer the best.
